Asherah Atwood was a 5 year old girl during the Time the Witch trials, she was among the 20 innocents executed for being falsely accused of being a witch, and pleading innocent. For her to be tested if she was truly innocent, she was forced to Do the “Swimming Test”, a test where they would strip you of your clothes, bound you, and throw in a river, lake, or deep enough body of water, if you floated, you were considered a witch because the water (a “child of God”) rejected you, if you drowned you were innocent. The reason that she was accused of being one, was due to her being born with Heterochromia Iridum, a eye condition to where the Iris of one eye is a different color from the Iris of the other eye. when the witch trials began, she was accused of being one and due to there being a cat with the same eye condition as her with the same color as hers, it fueled the townspeople’s belief of her being a witch. She died at the age of 5, due to drowning.
Fast forward to today, she roams the water and her home town, looking for her family and the cat. Instead of her having her original hair color, her hair color now matches the color of the water that she drowned in, her clothing, body, and hair are always soaked, and her skin, if you were to at first think she was a living person, she’d be almost a dead body pale color, her eyes always looking if they were full of tears and she was crying, but you would never be able to tell, because her body always had water running down and off it. Her voice if lets say you were in a different room, would sound far away, like that of a drowning person. When She is near, its as quiet as the dead, but can be heard, though the living struggle to hear it. even though she died a child, her body can sometimes be that of a teenagers.
her personality was originally that of…a child…but a child who knew nothing but good and innocence, but now, she seems emotionless, there is a way to unlock her emotions but no one knows how to unlock them. if she does show a emotion, it is either sorrow, pain, or sympathy for another one of the spirits of the victims of the trials. she has a great big heart, and shows that around animals, and other children (mostly those who are upset or angry), and enjoys oddly, listening to crows and ravens sing their songs, and hear animals howl. she enjoys being around lighting bugs A Lot.
